Steph Alexander celebrates 20 Years as owner of St Bernard's Private Day Nursery
If you go down Clarendon Road today, you may think that something has happened to St Bernard’s Day Nursery Ltd or that it may have changed hands – but you would be mistaken! The big difference is their new style as St Bernard’s have changed their branding so their logo, their uniforms and general look and feel but there is nothing new about the excellent child care and leadership of this popular local child care provider.
Owner Steph Alexander, pictured centre, left at the back, explains “I have recently taken on sole ownership of the nursery after my business partner retired and I felt it was a great time to have a fresh, modern look to mark the future. It is also to celebrate that fact that I have owned St Bernard’s for 20 years – to think that some of the children I have looked after there, now have their own children!! I can’t quite believe it. I am really excited about the future and have plenty more exciting plans so watch this space!! “
Apparently, it was a group decision on logos and colours as Ms Alexander sought the opinion of staff and children alike.
