Mealtimes at St Bernards

Nutritious, balanced meals prepared with children in mind

Mealtimes should be a happy, social occasion for children and staff alike. Positive interaction is encouraged throughout the day, and our nursery is committed to offering healthy, nutritious and balanced meals and snacks. All meals are nutritionally balanced, include the ‘Five a Day’, and are prepared daily using fresh produce. Special dietary requirements can be catered for on request, and drinks are available throughout the day including a consistent supply of fresh water.

Freshly prepared daily

Our weekly menus are built around balanced meals and snacks made using fresh ingredients to support healthy growth and development.

Healthy, balanced choices

Meals are nutritionally balanced and designed to include a variety of foods across the week, including fruit and vegetables as part of children’s daily intake.

Dietary needs supported

We understand that every child is different, so special dietary requirements and individual needs can be supported on request.
