Baby Room

The Little Wrigglers

Our Baby Room is a calm, safe and nurturing environment designed to support the very youngest children in their earliest stages of development. The space is carefully arranged with soft furnishings, sensory resources, and age-appropriate toys to encourage exploration through sight, sound, touch and movement.

Practitioners provide warm, responsive care, building strong attachments and following each baby’s individual routines to ensure they feel secure and valued. Through gentle interactions, sensory play and discovery, babies are supported to develop confidence, trust, and a strong foundation for future learning.

Toddler Room

The Little Explorers

Our Toddler Room is a warm, nurturing space designed to support children as they grow in confidence, independence, and curiosity. The environment is thoughtfully arranged to encourage exploration through play, with age-appropriate resources that promote physical development, early communication, and social skills.

Practitioners provide gentle guidance and consistent routines, helping toddlers feel safe and secure while building strong relationships. Through a balance of free play, child led, structured and outdoor experiences, children are supported to learn at their own pace and develop a love for learning in a calm, caring atmosphere.

Pre-School

The Little Learners

Our Pre-School room provides a stimulating and inclusive environment where children are supported to become confident, independent learner’s. The room is carefully planned to promote school readiness, with engaging activities that develop early literacy, numeracy, problem solving and social skills.

Children are encouraged to make choices, express their ideas, and work collaboratively with their peers. Skilled practitioners support learning through play, observation and meaningful interactions ensuring each child’s interests and needs are at the heart of everything we do. The atmosphere is welcoming, purposeful, and designed to inspire a lifelong love of learning.

Pre-School

Discovery Room

Our Discovery room is a space where curiosity comes to life. Here, children have the opportunity to explore an exciting range of science experiments, investigate natural materials and loose parts, and let their imaginations run free. Through hands-on exploration, problem-solving and open-ended play, we encourage every child to ask questions and make discoveries.

Outdoor Area

Our Garden

Designed to inspire curiosity, creativity and exploration, each of our outdoor environments offers children unique opportunities to learn, discover and develop through play.

The Little Wrigglers Garden provides a safe, stimulating environment where our youngest children can explore, develop their physical skills and satisfy their natural curiosity. Carefully designed to inspire learning through play, the space encourages sensory exploration, open-ended discovery, imaginative play and growing independence, while allowing children to enjoy the benefits of fresh air and the natural world every day.

Our Imagination Garden is designed to spark creativity and inspire young minds. Children have opportunities to role-play, investigate, experiment and create. Through child-led experiences, children build confidence, develop friendships and learn to express themselves while enjoying the freedom of outdoor play.

Our Woodland Area inspires children to explore, discover and learn through nature. Whether building dens, climbing into the treehouse, creating in the mud kitchen or investigating the world around them, children develop confidence, resilience, imagination and a sense of adventure as they learn through first-hand experiences.

Rest & Wellbeing

Sleep Room

Our Sleep Room is a peaceful, comfortable space designed to support children’s needs for rest and relaxation throughout the day. The room provides a calm atmosphere with soft lighting, soothing sounds, and individual sleep arrangements to ensure each child feels safe and secure.

Practitioners follow consistent routines and work closely with families to meet individual sleep needs, helping children settle easily and feel refreshed. This dedicated space allows children to recharge in a quiet, nurturing environment, supporting their overall wellbeing and readiness to engage in learning and play.

Specialist Space

Sensory Room

Our Sensory Room is a vibrant and engaging space designed to stimulate children’s senses and support learning through movement and exploration. The room is equipped with a range of interactive resources, sensory experiences, textures, and resources to encourage curiosity and imaginative play.

Children are supported to develop physical coordination, communication, and self-regulation skills in a fun and inclusive environment. Practitioners use this space to provide both calm sensory experiences and active play opportunities, helping each child build confidence, independence, and a deeper understanding of the world around them.
